Merge[edit]

I've suggested a merge of The Polity with this entry as it isn't really needed and the information can be dealt with in this entry in a sentence or so. (Emperor 00:54, 30 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

I also found the entry Geek (The V.C.s) and put that up for merging too - same reasong as above (Emperor 00:59, 30 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]
I object to BOTH mergers: The Geeks have appeared in a Judge Dredd comic strip before (Link) and The Polity could quite easily have its own article due to the fact that they are the main enemy in the series. --SGCommand (talkcontribs) 14:49, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Granted the Geeks get mentioned in that story but so do just about every villian they could lay their hands on. It might only be worth a minor mention on the Judge Dredd page (if at all - I have not bothered mentioning it in other entries) and doesn't mean it'd need a separate entry. The Polity only really emerged as background villians in the later episodes (and it all felt a bit throw away at the end and a rather convoluted plot device) and also doesn't warrant its own entry. Picture anyone?[edit]

Wel the series is finished now and I think it'd be great if we got a picture in here. The final cover would be great I think. Cheers! Smithy 17:00, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The final cover? This one? If so its not really working for me as it doesn't really add much to the entry (it was more of a fan thing to mark the, overdue, end of an era). I prefer either these covers [1] [2] or this TPB [3] as they all show them in action. The last one would be my pick. (Emperor 02:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC))[reply]
Yeah, that last one looks pretty good. Do you think you could put it up? Cheers!
Smithy 17:54, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok done. I also added a team box and some information about the most recent line up - needs a bit more work though (especially on the plot) (Emperor 15:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC))[reply]

To do[edit]

Things that the entry still needs:

  • Picture (see above)
  • More information on the various team members
  • More information on the alien races
  • An expanded plot section

And possibly some other stuff too (Emperor 02:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Geek.JPG[edit]

Image:Geek.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Reprints[edit]

Maybe there should be a mention of the Rebellion reprints of the original Titan Books 1 and 2. Douglasnicol (talk) 19:30, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
