Criticisms[edit]

The "Criticisms" section was poorly written, POV, unrelated to the story under discussion, uncited, and original research. I removed it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.81.50.169 (talk) 17:56, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does it seem to anyone else like this article was a copy of a highschooler's essay? It doesn't describe the text at any time without making a point to note the use of metaphor, simile, or similar structure. Weird. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.177.137.202 (talk) 18:04, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I got that vibe too. It's not even a particularly good essay, either. -Asguard (talk) 06:48, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Funnily enough that's the exact feeling I got from it. I even commented so to a friend. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.114.3.153 (talk) 21:23, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Be sure to note that Tommy Trash's remix, out soon, is another musical depiction of this short story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.166.38.226 (talk) 00:46, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Virtual Reality?[edit]

Virtual reality is just that, virtual. Nothing that happens is real. If the parents are really eaten by lions, doesn't that mean it is not VR? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pete71 (talkcontribs) 22:33, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the story line implied that the lions had gone past 3D/laser images and had become real. Rileycraig (talk) 16:33, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wendy and Peter[edit]

Surely the Peter Pan names reference should also lead us to Barrie's own statement that "children are young, and innocent ... and heartless!" GeorgeTSLC (talk) 04:30, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
