I've upgraded importance to mid. A class from Wayne State deemed Wajda's film of the same title to be of "high importance," that it was "an important specimen of Polish film." (See User:POL SLA 3750 WSU W2007). Yet the Polish Wikipedia has more on Smarzowski's film (an entire article, in fact) while Wajda's film barely gets a line in the Wajda article (in the filmography). The WSU class watched both films. With these things considered, I think this film merits at least a medium importance rating. Anton Mravcek 19:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
