Musical Score?
[edit]"The version with a score performed by Rosa Rita was made in 1986, and was included in all of the home media releases of the film, beginning with a release of that year, and continuing until a 1996 reissue."
Should that be "Rosa Rio"? She was a famous organist who created accompaniment for many revived silents. WHPratt (talk) 20:02, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- It is Rosa Rio, and the claim "and was included in all of the home media releases of the film, beginning with a release of that year, and continuing until a 1996 reissue" seems to have no relation to reality. I don't believe the score was included in any release of the film not produced by Video Yesteryear.--Scottandrewhutchins (talk)
- I have a VHS of Nosferatu with Rosa Rio's organ score, and it was released by Video Obscurata, though no doubt it originated with Video Yesteryear. When the film itself is public domain, these things do get around. As this Nosferatu uses different source material from most of the others and has a slower frame rate, it's a fascinating item and should have a DVD release. In any event, I'm happy to see that you corrected the name. WHPratt (talk) 13:30, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Television broadcast
[edit]I'm pretty sure I submitted some time back about how the film was broadcast on television in the 1930s. This was an experimental time with television, so the general public would not have seen it, but it nevertheless occurred.--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 18:48, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I went ahead and added this for you. If you have any more details with references I can add them. GCL (talk) 15:47, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
William Hauber and William Dinus
[edit]Their names are listed on the on-screen credits, but I have never been able to determine their roles, nor find a good picture of either actor.--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 18:50, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Spencer Bell
[edit]I realize that blogs are not considered reliable sources, but this page offers very string photographic evidence that Spencer Bell is not in this film: http://anthonybalducci.blogspot.com/2018/04/the-spencer-bell-misidentification.html , an identification I first saw on IMDb, which is also not considered a reliable source.
