Devout vs Observant

[edit]

The term devout would imply adherence to all of the tenants of a faith and potential a high level of piety, whereas Observant would imply effort is my opinion. I think this article potentially should describe Theo Von as Observant instead of devout. I am additional unsure of either term is best and a third is potential better.

Personal life: Older sister

[edit]

In this section, there's a sentence that reads

Von also has an older sister 39 years his senior, Joan (b. 1941), who is an artist.

I have looked at the source and no where does it mention anything about 1941. Where did that come from and what does (b. 1941) mean? I assume born, but why not just say ", born in 1941," it's not in the reference. I think I'm just going to put a cn tag. It still doesn't fix what that means.
