Missing work published by Ted

[edit]

Hi, the book Truth versus Lies by Ted Kaczynski is not listed on this article. I was wondering if there was a reason for this or if I should just go in and add it. Thanks. Maninacoffin (talk) 18:01, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got the details, yes, add it in.--Jack Upland (talk) 05:56, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rejecting leftism

[edit]

Ted Kaczynksi, in his manifesto, clearly rejected both left and right. Mentioning his rejection of leftism only is a thinly veiled suggestion that he was right-leaning. This stinks of political bias editing and should be corrected or removed. 107.142.60.195 (talk) 22:35, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is not him

[edit]

Ted Kaczynski was not the Unabomber, but rather the Ice Box killer. The man you're looking for is Timothy McVeigh, the actual Unabomber. How do I know? I know the guy who cleaned up the debris from when he practiced making pipe bombs in Germany, before he came to America and well, you know the rest. I also have extensive research on both individuals from numerous trusted sources, and I can tell you with certainty, Ted is not the Unabomber, Timothy McVeigh is. 174.96.212.60 (talk) 08:02, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please bring sources. Wikipedia doesn't work by anonymous people giving their opinions on what is true and what is false. Alexander Shipfield (talk) 16:59, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Change "He pleaded guilty to all charges in 1998 and was sentenced to eight consecutive life terms in prison without the possibility of parole." to "He pleaded guilty to all charges in 1998 and was sentenced to four consecutive life terms in prison without the possibility of parole."  Partly done: Some sources say eight years (like the ones we had in the article), and as you've pointed out, others say four plus thirty years. I've added a footnote that clarifies this alongside the source you provided. Thanks! AviationFreak💬 21:09, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
