Untitled[edit]

The opening sentence of this article states that Theodosius "was a founder and organizer of the cenobitic way of monastic life". However, other articles credit St. Pachomius as being the "father of cenobitic monasticism," having established his first monastery more than a century before Theodosius was born. Perhaps, then, the introduction to the article about Theodosius needs a bit of tweaking.... Hjcook (talk) 17:26, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Maronite legend: unsourced & inaccurate[edit]

Edited it a bit, but it still receives far too much space for a legend told in a form contradicted even by the dedicated Wiki art., where it's just a disciple of Th. who founded Qannoubine Monastery. And even that is highly unlikely, too. And here it's UNSOURCED! Arminden (talk) 09:25, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
