I removed a statement from the article, according to which the move to an amber LED may have had economic reasons. In my opinion this is highly unlikely, as the cost of an LED in any (standard) color is far lower than 1 USD. IBM would not compromise ergonomics on that basis. It is more likely that they believed a yellow light would improve contrast while reducing glare, but until we can find an authoritative statement by IBM or Lenove to that effect we shouldn't speculate. 149.217.1.6 11:10, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
