Season two in the netherlands

[edit]

I couldn't find any DVD store in the netherlands where I could buy the second season. I don't speak dutch but not even on ebay.nl or the big DVD store gives you season two. The only thing they offer is season one. Could it be that the season two in not even availible over there?

Lists

[edit]

There seem to be a lot of list on the page. Do you think we should reduce them. I think that the broadcasters could have their own page since there is such a long lists. And I think the trivia section could be cut down since over half the page is trivia. Samaster1991 19:09, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm 100% with you regarding these broadcasters lists that I find pretty un-informative (I actually already did in september 05, but it was remerged in the main article). Regarding the trivia, some of them are actors' trivia more than series'trivia. Lvr 10:11, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just deleted the quotes part, if anything, the quotes can go with the character's own page. Samaster1991 16:37, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes between season one and two

[edit]

Does any one have any information on what happened to the program between season one and two? The first four episodes of season 4 have taken a drastic change from the earlier.

Episode notability

[edit]

Many or all of the existing individual episode pages for this series appear to fail the notability guidelines for television episodes, and have been tagged accordingly. These articles can be improved through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. Overly long plot summaries should be edited, to a maximum length of approximately ten words per minute of screen time. Trivia should be integrated into the body of the article, or removed if it is not directly relevant. Quotes and images should only be used as part of a critical analysis of the episode. You might also consider merging any notable information onto the show's "List of episodes" or season pages. Otherwise, when these pages come up for review in fourteen days, they may be redirected or merged. If you want any help or further information, then come to Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/Episode coverage. Thanks. TTN 13:18, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Count

[edit]

Are the figures quoted accurate? I find it hard to believe that Sully for instance was only in half the episodes. Sure he was not in all of them, but I think he only missed 5 or 6 during the show's run. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.240.99.90 (talk) 23:05, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ER Crossover

[edit]

Should the crossover section also mention that Lisa Vidal apeared on ER as Sandy Lopez and on Third watch as Dr. Sara Morales.(IRMacGuyver (talk) 12:39, 7 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Request for comment on articles for individual television episodes and characters

[edit]

A request for comments has been started that could affect the inclusion or exclusion of episode and character, as well as other fiction articles. Please visit the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:Notability_(fiction)#Final_adoption_as_a_guideline. Ikip (talk) 11:06, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge all character articles together onto a list

[edit]

The individual character articles have all been sent for deletion via PROD or AFD recently... so I suggest they be merged together onto a single list. 76.66.192.144 (talk) 04:05, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the character pages should all be merged into one. It would not make sense to delete all the character pages because people need to find descriptions of individual characters in order to better understand and clarify the definition of "Third Watch" by Wikipedia. -Cam_Taters —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cam Taters (talkcontribs) 05:13, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A couple comments:

  • Next time feel free to remove the PROD tag - I had to undelete several of these because they were deleted before I saw them.
  • Merging separate character articles into one main one is usually the best way to handle these situations
  • Main characters may be notable enough for their own articles, but merging doesn't hurt either
  • The best title for the destination article is Characters of Third Watch
  • When merging please follow the instructions at Help:Merge
  • If any characters were deleted at AfD, let me know and I will be happy to merge them.
