map wrong - Brazil

[edit]

Brazil only has mandatory 13 salaries. 14th salary is not even customary (but happens sometimes) Jeisonlucio (talk) 16:25, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. A 14th salary was indeed implemented, at the time, by the laws cited in the main article; however, the fact of the matter is that, currently, for 99% of professions, a 14th salary is absolutely not required, and is also absolutely uncommon. Only politicians and CEOs pay themselves 14th salaries.
Note, however, that 13th salaries are required for all employment contracts.
I would edit the article myself, but the map also needs to be updated and that's beyond my wikipedia-fu. Can someone please fix this? chirographa diverbia cognatō 02:08, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Here is an actual source we can explicitly quote saying that 14th salaries are far from the norm in Brazil: https://www.econeteditora.com.br/boletim_trabalhista_previdenciario/trab-15/Boletim-22/dir_trab_decimo_quarto_salario.php chirographa diverbia cognatō 02:12, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
