A fact from This Is Ear Hustle appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 11 April 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Earlonne Woods details the experience of co-hosting the first podcast created entirely while incarcerated in his book, This Is Ear Hustle?
So as the article indicates, I was indeed hired to illustrate the book. I have not, however, been hired to create this article, or asked by anyone else affiliated with the book to make it. My illustration contract has long been completed and I have no formal ongoing contracts or financial ties with any persons or groups affiliated with the book. I do not receive any commission from the book's sales. I waited several months in the hopes the article would be created by someone else, before my patience ran out. In over 13 years of editing Wikipedia I believe I've developed the skills to write about the book in an unbiased manner; several more reliable articles about my involvement in the project do indeed exist, but I have deliberately chosen to make coverage of myself very minimal. I am, of course, very open to oversight and encourage other people to provide feedback on the article. Damien Linnane (talk) 10:18, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Overall: Nice work on both articles. It's unfortunate that this nomination has languished without a reviewer for so long. The hook certainly looks interesting and everything else checks out. Epicgenius (talk) 01:14, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
