Many thanks for the quick and helpful review, Scope creep! I will keep the discussion here for other editors to reference.

Removed the references needed template after adding references so that there are at least two for each paragraph.
Will remove the "living" designation.
I need help on the photos. There are great ones on Google Images. I linked the ones at U of Maine but although they were taken in the 30s they were published in Bisson's book of 1979. I assume that they are copyright.
