Not sure the nominations are that notable, but there seemed to be little on the guy except for briefly being an MP.--T. Anthony (talk) 14:28, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hold on this guy seems to have actually been important to the Entente cordiale. (Unless a different Barclay is meant It's not, see his book) I just assumed the article being so cruddy, and linking to so little, meant his getting nominated for the Peace Prize so much was a fluke. Silly me, I should've remembered Wikipedia is poor in many important areas. Hopefully someone can expand this. Sir Thomas Barclay results at Google Scholar and Sir Thomas Barclay at Google Books.--T. I'll expand it myself then, but later. I'm having some sinus problems right now and I have things to do in life.
