Makdougall

[edit]

His middle name was Makdougall, and he also married a woman named Makdougall. Would this suggest they were related? -- JackofOz (talk) 03:23, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems his surname was actually Makdougall-Brisbane. (The Peerage.com) It's a good thing it was abbreviated, otherwise the capital of Queensland would be Makdougall-Brisbane. His wife's name was Anna Maria Hay, but her father's surname was not just Hay but Hay-Makdougall. What's with all this? -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 09:09, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
