Name issue[edit]

The article had a typo and was named "Thomas R. Ranson" at the time of creation (and had no citations, or personal identifying details beside significance in the city of Staunton and serving in the Confederacy under Stonewall Jackson). After a lot of researching, new RS citations were added and the article was expanded. Subject meets WP:GNG by having significant coverage, and Ranson has published profile pieces.
