Significant article problems[edit]

Although only a stub, the article has significant issues.

1. Although Thomas Gargave is listed as killed at Orleans in 1428 by Hall, and dramatised by Shakespeare, military records show him continuing to serve until 1442. This is correctable (quite a bit is known about his career) but the whole article revolves round his presumed death and its inspiration for Shakespeare, so will need a rewrite.

2. Although linked to the title Master of the Ordnance, he is not listed as as one of the office holders in the 15th century (and nor is his father). The statement derives from the 19th century genealogy cited. In fact, if he was a master of ordnance it is more likely to have been one in the Normandy administration, of which there were a number.

Rather than just AfD, I'm notifying here the need for a rewrite. I'm willing to do work on that but others more involved may wish to do it themselves.
