Source for Uncle?

[edit]

Although the article begins by saying that he was "nephew of a Scotland Yard superintendent" and makes other mention of his "uncle" the entry for Superintendent Charles H. Cutbush in the 2015 edition of Begg, Fido and Skinner's The Complete Jack the Ripper A-Z states that he is the "alleged uncle" of Thomas Cutbush and that "the genealogical link" has still "to be established". My understanding was it has always be assumed that there was a relationship between the two, but no author has produced conclusive evidence that Thomas was the nephew of Charles. Is there a subsequent source which demonstrates conclusively that they were indeed uncle and nephew? If not I wonder if he wording here should be changed.Dunarc (talk) 19:57, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
