Untitled[edit]

Please do not delete this page because this man is notable as he was THE leading antiquary on the west coast of Ireland in the late 19th and early 20 th century and much of his work is now housed in the Royal Irish Academy and also in the local studies section of Clare Library, Ireland. I have also pploaded several of his main articles on the history of the western counties of Ireland which can then be linked to other history articles on wikipedia. Thsi article contributes to the history of the counties of Limerick and Clare and should be left up on wikipedia - not least because I put a significnat amount of time and effort in designing the page and uploading these rare articles.

Well enough, but it would be helpful for someone more familiar on the subject to add an introduction making this assertion. I may have made an error in nomination, but it is difficult to find such a claim when it does not appear until the fourth paragraph. --BassoProfundo 19:56, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ok thanks - now has do i clean the page up? (from the Luke, the author). Notability has now been established in the first line of the article (Luke, the author).
