Is there evidence he was definitely born in 1585? His article in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (published 2004, my source of stated cause of death) gives his birth year as "1583X86", signifying it to be disputed.Cloptonson (talk) 18:10, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
