anomaly[edit]

If he was killed in action his place of death was unlikely to have been his family home. ϢereSpielChequers 14:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there was a mistake. The home address was identified as the place that his wife lived when Lumsden died. I made the correction–CaroleHenson (talk) 17:22, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Notability (WP:GNG, WP:Notability (academics)) is unclear. There are two places where he may be notable:

  • Importance of the paper he wrote
  • Role during World War II. Since he was listed as a government official and diplomat, I wonder if he was part of the British Intelligence -- or was part of a team to engage the US in the war.

But, I am having a hard time finding information about him. Any ideas?–CaroleHenson (talk) 17:29, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
