Source/citation discrepancy

[edit]

@Ergo Sum: Looks like "Shea 1893, p. 93" is listed as a citation despite the absence of a corresponding Shea source from 1893. Is this just a typo; was it meant to be Shea 1891? Congrats on the GA pass. ceranthor 18:02, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Ceranthor: Yes, that was a typo. Thanks for pointing it out. Ergo Sum 18:48, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"College" is not a proper noun

[edit]

One need only search for "the college" throughout the Article to see that "college" is not a Proper Noun here. -- JHunterJ (talk) 16:04, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@JHunterJ: Thanks for your attention. I believe here, "the college" is indeed a proper noun because it's just half of the name "Georgetown College". Is not that by definition a proper noun? Ergo Sum 21:56, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please "correct" the rest of the occurrences of "the college" in the Article then. If it can't be correct, at least it should be consistent. -- JHunterJ (talk) 01:12, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@JHunterJ: Since it deals with exactly the same question, I invite you to join the discussion at Georgetown University. Whatever the result is there, I intend to abide by, as concerns all instances of Georgetown College. Reverting my edit here for now. Ergo Sum 01:17, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

need clarify

[edit]

There were two ref name="Kuzniewski29" in this article, one is {{harvnb|Kuzniewski|1999|p=29}}, another is {{harvnb|Kuzniewski|2014|p=29}}, with 9 more ref name="Kuzniewski29" /, maybe needs clarify?--Jarodalien (talk) 05:53, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Jarodalien: There are two Kuzniewski references, one from 2009 and one from 2014. Both are cited to their respective pages 29 at different points in the article. It doesn't strike me as that unclear. Ergo Sum 15:45, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I mean you have two ref name="Kuzniewski29", maybe consider change one to "Kuzniewski-2014-29", another one "Kuzniewski-1999-29".--Jarodalien (talk) 16:00, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Clarified. Ergo Sum 16:05, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
