Notes[edit]

The obituary for his son refers to him as "the late" but I have yet to find birth or death dates. What was his middle name? FloridaArmy (talk) 23:26, 29 March 2023 (UTC) FloridaArmy (talk) 23:26, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Content removal[edit]

The following was removed from the entry:

In 1966, he campaigned for a seat in the 31st District of the Alabama House of Representatives in Barbour, Bullock, and Macon Counties. Jim Peppler of The Southern Courier photographed him during the campaign in Tuskegee, Alabama.[1][2] Reed used the campaign slogan "Vote for the Man We Need Thomas Reed."[2] He gave an oral history interview in 1974.[3] In 1975, he was involved in the discussion over legislation regarding the regulation of gambling at racetracks and legal cases that followed.[4]

Yup [1]. Is that good, bad, or meh? I'd say that at least the bit about him getting photographed is unnecessary. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:03, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
