Removing the COI tag

[edit]

This article has been created to form a basis for other editors/contributors to record a neutral article based on the company. In the interest of transparency, we've made it clear where the company is making changes vs independent editors. If there are any facts that require checking, sources or more then we're happy to cooperate in trying to find source for them. As an official representative, I can also verify things more directly for those with interest in the company or it's efforts. We're sponsoring several major events around the UK and will be working on the behalf of organisers to record important details on Wikipedia (Example: Cardiff Big Weekend). This is our way of saying thanks to the Wikipedia community and contributing. Liam at TicketSource (talk) 10:16, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Edits

[edit]

There's two references for the TicketSource sponsorship of Cardiff Pride. Including a video of a celebrity authority speaking on the matter (Rod Thomas - Bright Light Bright Light) [1] [2]

An alternative reference for the incorporation of the company is available: [3] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Liam at TicketSource (talkcontribs) 10:35, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Cite article" and "cite video" are approximations of the correct templates to use here. The correct templates used should be Cite av media (which requires information to be input regarding time index and video source) and Cite web. I can add the walesonline and companieshouse sources, but I need for you to provide the video's correct time index. Please advise. Also, please remember to sign all posts using 4 tildes (~~~~).  spintendo  22:33, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Spintendo: Thanks - the relevant part of the video starts at 0:42, I put the time index into the link so that it goes straight through to it. Does this reference work? [1] Liam at TicketSource (talk) 09:20, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Liam at TicketSource, Spintendo, that video is just promotional material for the company. What possible reason could we have for wanting to include it in Wikipedia, which does not tolerate promotion of any kind? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:43, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Spintendo, Justlettersandnumbers - The content is relevant and sound given the context: it's a celebrity interview (off script) talking about company sponsorship of Pride events. The content would be relevant to any LGBT discussion as this is Bright Light Bright Light's opinion as an authority on the subject. Liam at TicketSource (talk) 09:02, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Filling Out Timeline

[edit]

There is currently a noticeable gap in the company's history. I do not feel comfortable recommended the COI tag be removed until more sources have been located to expand on the company's growth and activities from 2004 to 2014. Any assistance identifying sources is welcome. Betanote4 (talk) 02:50, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
