Environment[edit]

I think a citation is needed for the claim that sewage outflows into the river happen 'several times a year' - I only recall one in recent memory (maybe the last 5 years?), during a flood period. Mildlydiverting (talk) 10:03, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ooh, talking to myself - I've found some (not very well organised) data on the DEFRA / Environment agency sites that confirms the volume of sewage outflow issues. Will see if can add in a sensible way to the article. Mildlydiverting (talk) 10:48, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tidal Reaches[edit]

Please could the article include something about the tidal reaches of the Thames. How are they defined and what are the names (eg. Blackwall Reach, Erith Reach ...)? --Rob Kam (talk) 10:35, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Now included, copied from Watermen#See_also --Rob Kam (talk) 20:47, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the two lower reaches, the Lower Hope and Sea Reach. Pterre (talk) 16:46, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Modern map needed[edit]

History[edit]

Needed. Some sources give Londinium as the tidal limit of the Thames at the time of its founding, while Staines-upon-Thames claims it was the tidal limit until the 14th century. — LlywelynII 17:33, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
