Lede[edit]

The lede sentence says this is "the phenomenon of supporting a sports team" and doesn't seem to elaborate on the fact that it's made up of physical displays. Only the image captions seem to indicate that crucial fact. The article is otherwise quite deficient in informing the uninitiated, what in the world is a tifo? Materials[edit]

I'd love to know what kind of materials are used to make the displays. I presume that in the past cololoured crepe paper was used or the like. I'd also like to find out what the materials used now are, the only mention is that they cost $10,000.

At the moment the article is very vague and I had trouble understanding the concept. I'd really like to see the article expanded, now that it is becoming much more mainstream.
