Framing?

[edit]

What is this strange new use of the word ‘framing’ to mean ‘presenting’ or ‘representing’? It used to mean ‘falsely accusing’, apart from the obvious signification of placing an image within a surround.

Is it a new trope for ‘filming’ ? Or has it the feminist dialectical sense of ‘validation’, i.e. exhibited in the mainstream, and thereby gaining legitimacy ?

Merge

[edit]

Shouldn’t info about season 2 of Tiger King be on this article? It’s the same show. The Optimistic One (talk) 13:04, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, Tiger King 2 should be merged. Mbdfar (talk) 00:25, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Tiger King

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Tiger King's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 10:17, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
