Why is this here?
[edit]I don't see the point of this article. Suggest redirecting to TILE64 ... richi 01:17, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Redirect to TILE64 ... richi 01:51, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Tilera now has multiple products, so the articles should be kept separate. Tilera's innovations are important enough to justify an article, but clean-up and additional information is required. As of Feb 2009 the article does not have a NPOV. Phrases like "industry leader" are inappropriate.Ged Davies (talk) 17:55, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Proposal to merge with Tile processor

- The result of this discussion was to NOT merge. – nafSadh did say 05:25, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
per: Revision as of 21:37, 2012 December 31 User:A5b proposed to merge this page with Tile processor.
- This page is about the COMPANY called Tilera, that is the point of the article. Tile processor is a generic class of multi-core processor chips, which happens to be the technology that Tilera is developing. In the case of the prior proposed redirect (2007), TILE64 is a specific product (chip) manufactured by Tilera. There is no conflict, duplication or redundancy in any of these pages. All pages are relevant and appropriate.
- Removing the tag, because it is stale proposal with no active discussion and there is no apparent relationship between two topics. --– nafSadh did say 22:55, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
