Debut

[edit]

Anyone want take a pools on how many quick edits are gonna made while he racks up all these sixes? The TMS team on BBC Radio have just revealed he's made New Zealand's fastest Test 50 and it's 6th in all Tests. Tony2Times (talk) 00:35, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not the 6th fastest in test history - Cricinfo says there's at least 12 faster http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/content/records/284096.html --Eastlygod (talk) 00:50, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Surely joint 7th? He hit it off 29 balls. Tony2Times (talk) 00:57, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, you are right. I had 37 balls in my head for some reason. All these late night tests catching up with me I think... --Eastlygod (talk) 01:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just saying... If a 2015 section should be started, now would be a good time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.200.152.149 (talk) 05:05, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues

[edit]

It's been tagged since February. A tonne of detail about several years ago - way too much - and then virtually nothing recent. Any one planning on doing any work on this or not? Blue Square Thing (talk) 15:02, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly no longer a Stub. David notMD (talk) 02:41, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname

[edit]

In all seriousness why is the nickname edit being reverted as "vandalism"? Is only "serious" information considered notable? I think more people would be interested in that than obscure details about his career. Elcalebo (talk) 14:14, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It comes nowhere close to meeting WP:NICKNAME or MOS:BADNICK, let alone the guidance at the cricket infobox. In fact, it's pretty much a textbook example of a single mention by a journalist. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:30, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
