Hi Cyberjunkie, "Timeline of Adelaidean history" doesn't sound right to me as "Adelaidean" usually refers to a person from Adelaide. What do you think of "Timeline of Adelaide history" or "History of Adelaide timeline"? - Diceman 14:52, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline of Adelaide history sounds fine, although I don't think this title is necessarily incorrect – compare Timeline of Australian history. There doesn't seem to be any convention to timeline titles as there are relatively few of them – most are segregated (1980 in X etc). :)--cj | talk 08:06, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is a Timeline of Melbourne history. What about Chronology of Adelaide?--cj | talk 08:11, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Chronology of Adelaide is good although it seems like it's missing a term, like Chronology of Adelaide events or Chronology of Adelaide milestones. Otherwise Timeline of Adelaide history is fine. - Diceman 13:54, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tom 'Diver' Derrick Bridge

[edit]

I think it is appropriate that the Tom "Diver" Derrick Bridge is included in 2008 events as it was a fairly significant event industrially and culturally (similarly to the inclusion of the Birkinhead Bridge's opening in the 1940s). Lemphek (talk) 04:09, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2009 Events

[edit]

Why is the only significant event in 2009 the presence of Lance Armstrong in the Tour Down Under, which seems to be a bit of a joke. It was a media stunt more than anything else, not a significant historical event. Lemphek (talk) 04:09, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
