Merge
[edit]Should be merged into History of Florida or Outline of Florida. This seems like a rump perspective of history, some of which is not significant. But that which is, should be given proper perspective in the visible articles. Student7 (talk) 15:59, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
Pre-history section
[edit]Some suggestions for the Pre-history section:
- Page-Ladson site, artifacts and other evidence of humans, 15,405 to 14,146 calendar years Before Present, i.e., 13,455 to 12,196 BCE (pre-Clovis).
- Cutler Fossil Site, human bones and artifacts, 9320 BCE.
- Warm Mineral Springs (spring), human bones and artifacts, c. 8000 BCE.
- Devil's Den Cave, human and pleistocene animal bones, c. 7500 BC.
- Windover Archaeological Site, 168 pond burials and artifacts, including woven textiles, 5260 to 5370 BCE.

Sources?
[edit]Ten citations for 500+ years of history? That means almost nothing can be verified. It also means any editor who wants to can remove what's here. So, consider this: if you add to the timeline without a source to point to, your work will most likely be replaced in the future because you've given no indication whether it's true nor not.
