MUST INCLUDE THE 17TH CENTURY. This timeline should include as much of the reason as it can. This isn't a elementary school text book.

There is no valid justification to exclude very relevant events because "17th century (1600s) to early to be part of an Amer.Rev. TL"

This would be similar to removing the early seeds section in American Revolution, or the early dates in Timeline of the American Old West.

As the introductory paragraph states this is a timeline of political, social, and military aspects. It is not a timeline of the war. However it tries to create focus for the reader.

The introductory paragraph explains how one should view the most important timeframes of this revolutionary idea. But those whom wish to become learned will understand, via the links, the relationship, value, and connotations of the listed events.

Encyclopedia.com includes 1689 Boston revolt (the Glorious Revolution (1688), in their revolutionary war article

The history of Massachusetts website show how these early events caused "the colonist’s lingering resentment to build until it erupted in the American Revolution in the late 1770s."

Even a United Kingdom school level website expresses the importance of these dates that "sparked rebellion and protests from the Province of Massachusetts Bay Colony."
