Maybe someone would like to devise a neat table for the Published Issues information with appropiate columns. We could even begin to include lists of contributing authors/illustrators. nodmonkey 22:38, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New table

[edit]

Okay. Except for removing some distracting features--bolding, unnecessary punctuation & capitalization--and a few other minor edits, the info & text is taken directly from the previous version of the page. I've also added, just to get it started, the roster of contributors for issue 10. So? Whaddaya think?ShelfSkewed 07:15, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contributors

[edit]

I'm indulging a little overkill with the contributors, perhaps. Maybe "Selected contributors" would be better: Remove some of the pseudonymous (Mary Gallagher) and lesser-known names. And perhaps a sentence in the intro section listing frequent contributors (Arthur Bradford, Paul Collins, etc.) to reduce repetition in the table. Any thoughts? Anyone?ShelfSkewed 04:55, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey skewed- i'm new to this and hopeing i don't 'f' it up. i don't think it's overkill to list all the contributers and it would be interesting to identify pseudo-names. i'm working on cateloging my own mcsweeney's collection and may be able to make some contribution here. i'd also like to do a page on the mcsweeney's pub's that aren't part of the quaterly. guess i'll have to work on that one but i'd be gratefull for any help you might have before starting. i have most of the books but i'm not sure of the order of publication for most of them. then there is the ephemera and mcsweeney titles by other publishers. any input before i get started (which will take me some time) forgot to say- really great start but i don't see peck listed on the back of issue #1 ?? --Skot65 22:32, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ping Skot65: See your Talk page. --ShelfSkewed [Talk] 05:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Published issues

[edit]

Does anyone think the published issues table is excessive, and should maybe either be deleted or moved? --Geracudd (talk) 15:45, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone? If no one objects I am going to delete it.--MainlyTwelve (talk) 04:43, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like it could be spun into its own article, or something else. Maybe brought back.--MainlyTwelve (talk) 04:44, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, what did you do? I (and a number of my friends) used that table all the time. Where can I find the issues table now? Texan4Ever (talk) 02:02, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
