2 out of 3 ain't bad. But "highest strength-to-weight ratio" is false. There have been steels with stronger strength-to-weight ratios for decades; a good 350 Maraging steel not only has a much higher ultimate strength (350ksi vs 120ksi for Ti-6-4), but is pound-for-pound stronger (3 times stronger but only 45% heavier). Beryllium beats the pants off titanium alloys. At 40% of the density (1.85g/cc vs 4.5g/cc), beryllium (40ksi) is as strong as commercially pure titanium (40ksi) but much lighter. Don't get caught up in the titanium hype; it's a nice mid-strength metal, but it isn't first or best or mostest in any particular property. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.31.106.34 (talk) 14:36, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
