Bias in article

[edit]

This article is very biased with no references. Recently, I deleted a section that was extremely biased and uninformative. This article needs to be expanded, cited and objective. LtGen 06:01, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was not very good. I've rewritten and expanded the article significantly; let me know if you see any problems. 24.91.134.90 08:37, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you 100% that this article is very bias. It does not explain that other states besides the 20 listed happen to give loans based on titles, but are not "Title Pawn", but a consumer finance loan given at a maximum interest rate of 30-36% APR. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.57.177.56 (talk) 19:31, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Celebrities Who Do Commercials For Title Loan Companies

[edit]

Should there be a section that lists celebrities who do title loan commercials?

There are many celebrities who do title loan commercials (and many celebrities who wish they had not done these commercials in the past).

Should there be a section that contains a list of them?

My concern is that would be tantamount to a blacklist. The names of celebrities don't help define the product or industry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Watchdog3141 (talkcontribs) 16:32, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

States?

[edit]

The section on states where such loans are offered seems contradictory. (Firstly, the title of the section makes it seem as thought the loans were offered by the state.)

It has a paragraph on the regulations in New Hampshire, but then does not include New Hampshire in the list of states where the loans are legal!

Has the regulation in NH changed recently? Or is one of the paragraphs in error? ApLundell (talk) 15:49, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
