There is hope I'll reach the 120 mark after all :) Is there anyway a test can be done to confirm this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by86.41.159.109 (talk) 12:14, January 29, 2009 (UTC)

You can choose to believe whatever you wish...it's called "faith." But let me say this: saying "I'm 120" when you're 98 doesn't make you 120.Ryoung122 04:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't seem to find any references to this story after late Jan/early Feb, except sites referencing the early stories. But something is stranger. Ignoring the credibility of the claim, why wasn't it made earlier? The passport was issued Nov 28, 1997. At that point, Calment had recently died. Knauss was several months younger, so Yusupova would then have been making a claim to be the oldest living person. How did the government not know about a passport it itself issued? Also, the birthdate is suspiciously round: exactly in the middle of a 0-ending year. SpaceCaptain (talk) 22:33, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
