misconduct?[edit]

wondering what his "misconduct" was that led to his being forced into seppuku?

I've heard various stories

* slaughtered all the animals on a sacred mountain that hunting was forbidden on
* cut the fetus out of a pregnant peasant woman
* held a tournament forcing 22 samurai to fight to the death and had those that refused to fight be shot —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.90.14.74 (talk) 17:41, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I once saw in a documentary on TV (here in Japan) how the last straw was when he had an affair with a married woman, then made a drunken public scene about it. As I understand it, he was an all-around jerk, sadist, drunk, and spoiled brat that was an embarassment to the ruling family. A combination of Caligula and Paris Hilton, I just don't have the sources to include that stuff, at the moment. Boneyard90 (talk) 01:08, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
