Wow!

[edit]

The last time I looked at this article was in January last year and it was still a stub. I'm impressed how much more detailed it's got and how people have even corrected the stuff I started with! IainP (talk) 13:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lot's of superlatives used everywhere. NPOV? It's a matter of subjective (bad) taste to call anything he does 'brilliant'. It's one dimensional B-grade tripe through and through.86.27.96.55 (talk) 03:20, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
One-dimensional B-grade tripe, yes, but it's BRILLIANT one-dimensional B-grade tripe. HandsomeMrToad (talk) 23:47, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

being a novice at editing an article on wikipedia, i focused on the entertainment aspect of Tom Savini's career, and fell into the trap of using a few words like "brilliant" to excite the readers interest. my goal was to provide more information on his career both present and past and to link more wikepedia articles to his page in order to help readers learn more about the movie genres he has been associated with in his career. i also have read Mr. Savini's journals on Savini.com and have watched many interviews on youtube for quiet a while in an effort to learn more about his career. while working on the page, i contacted mr. savini himself to find out more about his college education and his special effects makeup school. i will continue to try to find more references to support the article- thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Terryoaka (talkcontribs) 22:40, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe mention some of the many awards his work has won during such a long career. Oh, wait. He only has one, and one nomination.. and a shared award that went to the entire cast of some show. What a legend. Really, the whole article is an aggrandizement of a fairly mediocre figure in an obscure entertainment genre.. a veteran bit part actor also. There are actual stars with less said about them. This comes off as a fanboi page, sorry to say.58.179.153.187 (talk) 13:07, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
