Can anyone document the story about "Bubbles In My Beer"?[edit]

This article contains a fascinating account of how the song "Bubbles In My Beer" by Tommy Duncan, Cindy Walker, and Bob Wills came to be written, which I quote:

One night in a bar visiting with songwriter Cindy Walker, Duncan motioned for her to look at a gentleman sitting just a few tables away who was staring at his glass of beer. Duncan commented to her that he's just "watchin' the bubbles in his beer." Instantly they both realized they had a song idea and "Bubbles in My Beer" became one of the staples of Western swing songs.

I have not only visited the article's external links, but have also googled both Tommy Duncan and Cindy Walker; and I have not found any independent source for this story. I did however find a somewhat different account at Country Music Treasures, also lacking documentation. There is at least agreement that Duncan came up with the title for the song. The story was told to me by Tommy and my father Glynn Duncan. They were recording at the Capital Studios and were at the bar after they finished for the day. They were sitting at the bar and did talk about the man watching his beer. Once Tommy did say he’s watching the bubbles in his beer they ended up writing the song that night. I am related to Tommy Duncan and found this article to be very interesting though it states that he helped write the song "San Antonio Rose" I happen to personaly know that it was written and then Tommy took it and rewrote it in a few hours.
