Tommy James & The Shondells are still touring.

Keep - No, I feel Tommy James should have his separate page along with the page listing his career with the Shondells. This is not to diminish the contribution of the Shondells; however, Tommy also had a successful solo career with songs like "Draggin the Line" and "Three Times In Love". Master tape[edit]

Duplication[edit]

Any mention of Tommy James and the Shondells must include the contributions made by bassist,George Magura. It is true that Mony, Mony was written with the Mutual of New York sign flashing outside of a hotel window where Tommy and George Magura were stuck for a song to be recorded the next day. Both were drinking and doing drugs as they wrote the song. That is a fact...!!!

Morris Levy, President of Roulette Records took away the writing credits entitled to George Magura.

Draggin' The Line II[edit]

There is apparently a Draggin' The Line II featuring T.O.N.E-Z and Steven Van Zandt, yet it is not mentioned here nor on the article. I heard this song on the SiriusXM station 60's on 6. It was during a program that James himself hosted on March 22nd I believe. I also have a link to the song on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08LwqnR6wik From the looks of things, this is a very recent remix from 2019, so am surprised 60's on 6 was playing it, though it may have been the original but for whatever reason, whoever controls the station info that gets sent, and then displayed on the radio's (The RDS or whatever the thing where the station shows what artist is currently playing on the radio) just added on T.O.N.E-Z and Steven Van Zandt for whatever reason despite neither of them being featured on the 1971 version.
