Oldest settlers?

"The Tonga-speaking inhabitants are the oldest Bantu settlers, with the Tumbuka, a small tribe in the east, in what is now known as Zambia." This statement needs some sort of citation or evidence. Kanjuzi (talk) 16:31, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dombe as a derogatory synonym

The current edition of Ethnologue at https://www.ethnologue.com/18/language/dov/ never says that Dombe is a derogatory synonym of Tonga. —Mahāgaja · talk 16:15, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
