There seems to be a slight bias here. I agree with what you say, but this is just an opinion

Major bias

[edit]

This page should be edited. Unbelievable bias.

Can someone explain where they got the information about Tony Hibbert's pognophobia from? Surely this needs to be removed until it can be corroborated?

I would like to see something about Tony's cult hero status at Everton and like Michael Essien's page I would like to see something about his nickname (The Shoe) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.162.229 (talk) 20:24, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nickname and Cult Status amongst Everton fans.

[edit]

Alot of the Everton fans refer to Hibbert as "The White Cafu", shouldn't this be added? Also he is a massive cult hero to the fans. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.146.237.192 (talk) 00:45, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If there is a reliable source documenting this then yes. Otherwise, no. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 08:52, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have two links refering to Hibberts cult hero status. http://www.nsno.co.uk/2-tony-hibbert/ http://soccernews.bigsoccer.com/article/07Mb03K300bHg. The nickname is going to be harder to find but I think I can find something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.146.237.192 (talk) 13:44, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Personally, I have no problem with mentioning Hibbert's cult status, though you'll be better citing the original article at A Different League rather than the little note at bigsoccer. The nickname's another matter. All fans have nicknames for players, and if it's something rarely if ever mentioned in sources outside fansites, forums and social-networking sites, it's not really something that needs to go in an encyclopedia. This article's suffered a lot in the past from people only interested in adding silliness surrounding Mr Hibbert's supposed nicknames. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:57, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Action shot

[edit]

I know it is only a minor change but couldn't we have a second picture of Hibbo in mid air or something? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Readyhamster (talkcontribs) 14:12, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
