Assessment[edit]

We normally do not rate a musicals article as a "start" until it has a substantial plot summary and complete list of musical numbers. I would still call this article a stub. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:50, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. While this article does have a considerable number of references for something "stub" class, it provides the reader with little information beyond "it happened" and "these people worked on it". There's definitely room for improvement in terms of the plot. I looked around to see if I could dig up a song list, but wound up empty-handed. Perhaps more information will be available when the show officially opens in a couple days? —MearsMan talk 00:05, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I was rating this based on the standard used for film articles. As long as an article includes major cast and crew credits, a general idea of the plot, and reliable references, it's considered to be at the start level. This one even has an infobox with an image, so I felt it had graduated beyond the stub phase. Please feel free to change it if you wish. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 12:39, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Quoting the critics[edit]

Originally this article included the statement "one reviewer comments on the many people leaving during the first half of the show," but didn't reference the source. The only review I found that alludes to such a phenomenon was in The Times, and the actual reference is to "press reports of . . . people walking out of the audience at previews." Given this wasn't an eyewitness account, which the original statement implied, I have removed it. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 14:48, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
