Opiate[edit]

Somebody should update Opiate and say it's platinum on the discography page. It should be like the regular albums that state what platinum certification the album is. If the opiate page has it with a platinum certification then the discography page should have it.

Discrepancies[edit]

Missing the Demo by "Tool" entitled "Toolshed" released 1991 A-Side:

01 - Cold & Ugly
02 - Hush
03 - Part of Me

B-Side:

04 - Crawl Away
05 - Sober
06 - Jerk-Off

I would list more sources, but I'm lazy. Go look for yourself - whoever monitors this page should probably update it. I'll leave it to them.

I have a version of the Wings song "Silly Love Songs" called "Silly Little Love Songs" which purports to be by Tool - anyone know if this is really Tool? If so, we should add it to the discography somewhere. I don't know enough about it to really know, though. -- Alucard (Dr.) | Talk 01:25, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That would most likely the version Maynard sang on a Replicants cover off of their one album. There is a plethora of Tool-related stuff that could be added if this is the appropriate place (Maynard has a bunch of appearances with other groups, RATM, Deftones etc etc). Cheers! Fair use rationale for Image:Aenima2.JPG[edit]

Image:Aenima2.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:02, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Format change suggestion[edit]

I think it would be clearer to read if we used the Discography template instead of tables, which I've always viewed as being messy and cluttered. This is a pretty neat template. Does anyone else have thoughts about this?

Here's an example...

Charted songs[edit]

Why are "Hush" and "Maynard's Dick" listed when they have no chart positions? –Pomte 21:26, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To-do[edit]

  • Copy-edit lead for prose.
  • Check for additional chart positions and expand tables accordingly.
  • Table DVDs.
  • Check if Tributes are relevant for this list, if so table the section?

Broken references[edit]

See Talk:A Perfect Circle discography#Broken references. That discography was built off of this one. A lot of the same references were used, and it appears these sites have gone down. This is something that will probably affect a lot of music articles. لennavecia 05:23, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. It must have been a temporary issue. They're all up now. لennavecia 19:12, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

72826[edit]

Needs to be fixed: The Tool Template lists 72826 as an EP, whereas the 72826 article calls it a 'demo-tape'. If it really is an EP, it should also belong on this page. And if it's just a demo-tape, then I really don't know what needs to be done with it. But I just thought this information needs to be noted. -TOM — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.128.91.240 (talk) 09:38, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
