Untitled

[edit]

The part in this article about the resorbed ridge only shows changes in the vertical dimension and fails to reflect the facial translation of the mandible or the palatal translation of the maxillary ridge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.1.134.3 (talk) 04:12, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Proposal

[edit]

As I see it, I realize now that I created the edentulous article while following a wikilink in an article. Later on, I found this much more expanded article, so I figure the smaller should be gulped up by the larger. I don't anticipate there being any arguments about this, and I'll have it done in the next few days at most. DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 22:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul

[edit]

This article was entirely unencyclopedic, reading like a personal letter from a person to his newly edentulous grandmother to inform her of what she can expect now that she has no teeth. It was written in poor syntax and sentence structure and was infused with cute quotes. I am overhauling it, providing a solid copyedit with graduate-level textbook sources.
