On June 24th, 2011 IRC logs of LulzSec were leaked by ex-member m_nerva, whose name appears as [redacted] in the logs. Through this leak, it became public that Topiary was an acting member of LulzSec, primarily handling their Twitter accounts and other public affairs. Topiary is seen in the logs bagging on this Wikipedia page and targeting editors of this page, saying "can we delete this somehow? Who made this Wiki?" and later laughing at Wikipedia editors for not using VPN while editing. Later, after the group attempted to WHOIS several of the editors IPs Topiary wrote, "we need to gather info and profile all these fags, backtrace crew/wiki crew/jester crew." Like LulzSec, Topiary targets 2600 and Jester.
This fragment has absolutely no biographical significance, is unsourced and could be considered a personal attack. I think it should be removed. Mech.hisui (talk) 11:34, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added a sentence about his reported membership in LulzSec, this time shorter, more biographically relevant, and cited to a reliable news source to replace this paragraph. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 18:58, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the "deleted his twitter account" as this is not true. I have also added id speculation with reference to a Guardian article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcnetsys (talk • contribs) 09:41, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Fine, but you also removed a reference that corresponded to the two sentences before that one two. I have restored the reference (but not the dismantled Twitter part), and thank you for the correction. かんぱい! Scapler (talk) 12:57, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
