Where's the controversy?[edit]

This article is deficient because it makes no mention of the controversy surrounding Tops In Blue. Some AF people think anything beyond the traditional military band is a waste of time and money. Their point is, no matter how good and professional in quality the shows may be, basically who cares? How does that further the mission? It's also been asserted that few would attend performances (outside friends and relatives) except that their CO makes it known that they'd like them to. I think controversy surrounding a topic are worth mentioning in an article. There should be some cites available. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.41.7.5 (talk) 23:29, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If there are reliable sources that discuss this then we can work it in. The last time someone tried to put in this kind of information they used letters to the edito which are not reliable sources. If you find any sources, please bring them here so we can discuss them. GB fan 23:36, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

TIB Cancelled[edit]

TIB has been cancelled and the page should be updated to reflect that in order to be transparent and accurate. 21 December announcement link:http://www.af.mil/News/ArticleDisplay/tabid/223/Article/637595/air-force-cancels-2016-season-of-tops-in-blue.aspx — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baldcanuck (talkcontribs) 14:55, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As of right now the 2016 season is cancelled. It looks like this is being done as an interim measure for a full review. We will update as more information becomes available. -- GB fan 15:11, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
