Name[edit]

What is wrong with the current name? Is there more Torsåker in Hofors Municipality and in that case, what is better with the title Torsåker (Hofors Municipality)? I think we should use this one (or maybe Torsåker, Hofors Municipality) as other localities in Sweden. --Skizzik talk 20:15, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The thing is that there are several Torsåker in Sweden, and we need to disambiguate. "Torsåker, Hofors" is wrong, because "Hofors" designates the locality, not the municipality, on Wikipedia - and Torsåker is not found within the locality. Your other suggestion is correct, however, according to naming convention on Wikipedia: "With the names of cities, towns, villages and other settlements, as well as administrative divisions, the tag is normally preceded by a comma, as in Hel, Poland and Polk County, Tennessee." -Duribald (talk) 19:17, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that there are more Torsåker in Sweden doesn't automatically mean that the article should use another name but in this case the locality is so small that I guess it should. However when I created the templates, I used the names "xxxxx, yyyyy Municipality" which I thought was better than just "xxxxx, yyyyy" but another user changed all of them. I still think the first way is more correct but have not found any rules or guidelines about it. I think all of the articles should use the same naming convention so maybe we should ask what people think at for example WP:SWEDEN and then change all of them accordingly. --Skizzik talk 19:51, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
