Summer!?

wait, why would TDA premiere in america in summer if it premieres in canada on the 11th of this month!? people lose intest when they have to wait a long time for something. they probebly just watch the episodes online. it's not as if they need to dub it. i find this claim hard to believe..Jeremie Belpois (talk) 08:54, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Its not a claim there is a commercial for TDA where it shows the word DRAMA and they make it change to the word ACTION by having lava and rodots change the letters,after that it says coming summer 2009 and it does the little TDI tune. I am going to redo the page because there is tons more stuff to do to it and plus the contestents part is now possibly incorrect because on the production blog (the most reliable source there is) it says there might be 14,15 or 22 (dont believe me search Totaly Dramatic production blog and its the first or second result) plus they also said there will be someone joining chris and chef. Teletoon Page

I think it might be a good idea to note that the episode on Teletoon.com is only available to those who live in Canada, it so that way those in the United States can't watch it. More than likely, there will be a copyright claim if the video is put on youtube somehow, because they want to keep the episodes a secret to those in the United States. TV rating for US?

How do you know the TV rating for US? It didn't even start airing in US! Some people keep copy TDI's TV rating for TDA. And IF you know TV rating for US, please add a citation because it didn't even start airing in US. Really Mad

Attention everyone. While some of us have heard some of the rumors of what will happen in upcoming episodes, and some may have found out about some actual facts about the upcoming eps. (myself included), I respectfully ask that EVERYONE (once again myself is included on this) please WAIT to put the results/plots/happening of each of the episodes untill after that episode is broadcasted in Canada (wait untill the day after broadcast). Courtney and Table

It has been confirmed by Cake Entertaiment that Courtney will return as a competitor in the TDA episode, " Ocean Eight- or Nine". A short description of the episode includes: This week's bank heist challenge starts with the teams having to blow a safe. The Grips realizing how starving Owen is after finally getting his jaw unwired, get him to break out by piping in some delicious food smells - but his desire to find something to eat after ages may ultimately be a handicap. Meanwhile, an over-confident Duncan leads them to the bank only he freaks when he discovers that his lady love, Courtney, is the teller! Yes, it's true, she's back in the game after a successful lawsuit against the producers - and she's going to prove a huge strain when she lands opposite Duncan's team...

As for the table, eventually a courtney row will have to be placed. Also, i think episodes in which no contestant is eliminated should be side noted at the bottom of the table because i do not think there is any point in having a whole column just say in, in, in, in... etc.

Everyone tries to edit the table and the information so much, that the article looks screwed up. I understand that there is proof now, that she comes back to Total Drama Action, but unless someone who knows how to navigate with a table and the article, I'm the one that has to keep reverting it back, so I can change it correctly. -Bbhinton15 (talk) 18:12, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Ummm, whoever edited the table to include coutney, i think she comes back in episode 8 not episode 10 but i'm not 100% sure so i guess we should just wait and see.

Yeah, im the one who did that. See the episode that she comes back has already been released (it's called "Ocean's Eight...Or Nine"). I kinda figured that the "Eight" meant the amount of cast-mates left, and the "Nine" was a joke signaling that Courtney would come. So I did some thinking. Since there are 10 cast-mates left now through episode 6. There should be nine left at the end of episode 7, and eight left at the end of episode 8. Since TDA does a TDA Aftermath Show after every two cast-mates get eliminated, there should still be 8 left at the end of that (which would be Episode 9). So that's when I got to Episode 10, there are supposed to be 8 cast-mates left before the Gilded Chris Ceremony. That's when Courtney comes to make the "Eight", a "Nine". But that was only through my knowledge, I couldn't see any other way they would do it, unless TDA doesn't have a second Aftermath show at Episode 9. -Bbhinton15 (talk) 21:37, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Cody and Table

I don't think it has been confirmed that he returns and i dont think he does because the actor who provides the voice for Cody was busy with other projects at the time TDA was made.

Also, the citation given to Cody, Lindsay, and E-Scope rejoining the competition does not even mention them! Its the same cite that only referes to Courtney so i say since there is absoloutely no proof of the matter that Bridge and Izzy should be left on "Out" and Cody should not be included in the table. Thanks to whoever fixes it.

Episode Hiatus

Episode Previews

Spelling

The article appears to be written in ambiguous English. :) There are no clear Canadian or American spellings. Total Drama Island doesn't have any either. Based on that, if the issue comes up, I'd say to use Canadian English. —C.Fred (talk) 00:20, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Actually, it was even more out of control when it wasn't protected. There was even more bad info, false info, info getting put up too early, and just plain vandalism at that point then there is now. Unfortunately, there's no other solution than keeping it under protection and keeping watch of the article (and related articles). No, Cody will NOT be coming back. There's absolutely no proof. Courtney has been proven by Cake Entertainment and TDA pictures. Bridgette is not completely proven, but the western comedy is a good reason to base off of.

I have a hint that Total Drama Action will be on Cartoon Network on June 25, 2009. This is probably when TDI will almost finish its run on Thursdays. Here is what I think.

Removed Controversey

It is confimred that Izzy doesn't return by the final six. Chances are she won't come back after that. They worded "E-Scope's" elimiantion very carefully. Instead of calling the same people's names, Chris called the loser. That way she could ignore him unitl calling her "E-Scope". This time it was a normal elimiantion. Info on unaired episodes..

Could we please stop with placing info on the aired episodes of the show (one that not officially released - and confirmed - by the Teletoon and Cartoon Networks sites or by the producers of the show)? Such info is not to be released to the public yet.

Also, while we're at it, stop posting false info, fan fiction, and predictions as if they were true (and proven) info. It saves everyone the trouble of deleting it and replacing it with actual facts.

I'm a bit confused about episodes...

It says there are 12 or 13 episodes out right now, yet the chart of characters on the main page show up to episode 27 or something like that, and even shows the winner being Cody. Is there any proof to that? That is true. Courtney out-smarted Cody in the last spot to get into total drama action. Well pretty much the only reason that Coutney won is because she has lawyers unlike Cody who probably has absolutly no law firm experience. But Courtney is in and Cody will NEVER be in total drama action....EVER! To 09nick & C.Fred: The ones doing it were already warned NOT to turn the article (or the other TDI/TDA articles) into a personal fan/fanfic/prediction/spoiler webpage/site, and that doing so is AGAINST Wikipedia policy. WOW? some people are really stupid. first they said courtney comes back (which is true), next thay say that cody is returning even though he isn't in the picture or theme show, but could sue the company for getting mauled by a bear. next, for some reason, some stupid people are saying that tyler returns. what the heck! there is no proof at all. Also someone else said this and I agree: he said that it's just a rumor and even if a vote off is true it's not true until it premeires. on the tda wikipedia article, it lists the competitors and their names. suprisingly, it lists courtney, eva, tyler & cody's voice actors/actress'. this may hint that all 4 of them will be shown sometime on the TDA show either as a competitor or as a special guest (this doesn't include the TDA aftermath segments).

Who ever is putting up Esquire/Izzy on the elimination table needs to know that it is a lot like adding Cody, Ezekiel, ect. The most recent one I saw attempts to give proof by saying that Izzy changed her name again, so that's like saying this:

The reason why they are listed like that is because they are characters too, and the only thing that would fit into their team, status, and merged team is host and co-host. So even though many people probably know about them, that would probably be the best way to list them on the character table. TDA Aftermaths in the elimination table?

Should we continue to allow the aftermaths in the elimination table? I think they should be taken out because there is no challenge in these episodes and they are irrelevant to the remaining contestants. I also think they do not belong because the contestants aren't "IN" because they aren't even in the episode! The description for "IN" is "This cast-mate is still competing in Total Drama Action as of that episode, and had their name called at the Gilded Chris Ceremony.This is also for contestants who are still in the game and is in the table on every episode until they get eliminated." So, I think we should take the Aftermaths out, however it should still be mentioned under the table like *Episodes 6, 12, and 18 were Aftermath episodes so the castmates did not partake in these episodes. Your thoughts?

Well Gwen didn't really vote herself off. Oh, by the way, here's the arguement for blocking IP users that I found on wikipedia:

Proposal: Everybody should register an account before editing; IP addresses are insufficient.
Reasons for previous rejection: A large portion of our good edits come from IP addresses;^[2] positive experiences with initial IP edits lead users to create accounts who otherwise would not do so; software features disabling IPs from creating new articles or editing semiprotected ones are sufficient. According to Jimbo Wales, "what is commonly called 'anonymous' editing is not particularly anonymous ... and there are good reasons to want vandals on ip numbers instead of accounts". While about 97% of vandalism comes from anonymous users, about 76% or 82% of anonymous edits are intended to improve the encyclopedia. (Prohibiting IP edits would not eliminate 97% of all vandalism, because those inclined to vandalism could easily take the 10 seconds to register.) The ability of anyone to edit articles without registering is a Foundation issue.

Owen was Unfairly Kicked Off

In episode 21, Owen returned. When COurtney started questioning Chris, he told her Owen won a lawsuit for being unfairly voted off and for his jaw being broken. Even though Chris was lying, it was still believable. Owen's vote was unfair, which is why I have editted the charts saying he was unfairly kicked off. If there is a problem with my logic, let me know. There's a lot to be improved. Some things may be trivial and have to be removed. People also may talk about the article being vandalized and how it can be fixed. They can also talk about which sections are needed and unneeded (although I don't really know about any sections on the article that need to be removed). Harold and courtney could not have been battling it since Harold got kicked off. :p It's too late in the season to bring back someone who was JUST eliminated: that would be incredibly stupid on the writers' part. Therefore, the order is: Beth (Winner) -> Duncan -> Courtney -> Owen -> Harold -> Lindsay...

Justification:

We know from the actual preview Cake entertainement preview and some videos that out of the current Final 4: only Beth does not return. We know that the description says that Courtney and Harold were battling it out, but Harold just lost so this must be wrong. It can be inferred that Owen will not win: he won Season 1 and frankly, right now he's a TDA staff plant. It's more likely that the writers are trying to make a girl win to balance out Owen's win; which eliminates Duncan as well in theory. Courtney is more-or-less the antaginst (pardon my spelling) Heather was Season 1; except with a love interest. It's more likely that they want the better person to win, which arguably is Beth. It is quite possible that her absence in TDM was caused by her winning; and the other three return because they didn't (why would they return if they won? Why is no body editing the pages?

Character table

I both agree and disagree. I think it is redundant to the elimination table and less informative, but I think it organizes the eliminations better which makes it a little easier to understand. Also, I think the "HIGH" information on the elimination table should be taken off because of the following reasons:

1: They are irrelevant to the elimination table and to the series, in general.
2: There is no importance or significance in getting the first Gilded Chris.
3: For some episodes, there are two people that seem to have "HIGH", for example in episode 19 where Courtney has the "WIN" color that signifies she got the first Gilded Chris and Beth has a "HIGH" which means they BOTH got the first Gilded Chris. I thought a "HIGH" was just for the first person which was Courtney.
4: Taking away the "HIGH"s and the spring green colored "WIN"s would help clean up the table and it would be less complicated. Elimination tables exist to summarize and make the eliminations easy and quick to read so eliminating the "HIGH"s would clear it up. Also, the table does not need 4 different colored "WIN"s; one of the four "WIN" colors would be taken off as it corresponds with getting the first Gilded Chris.
5: In every other elimination table I have seen, "HIGH" has meant that the person has done well in the challenge or episode. In TDA, the first person to recieve a Gilded Chris has not always done well.

I have an issue with the order of eliminations. Owen wasn't "eliminated" the second time around; he was fired. It's not a stretch to assume he wasn't even competing after being invited back. Courtney, however, was voted off, and technically she was the only one sent home that day who was indeed competing. Right now Owen is listed as coming in third place, while Courtney is listed in fourth. This seems a little misleading. (For the record, I am not a Courtney fan. As an avid role-player I found her constant out-of-character antics highly offensive.) I've gone ahead and taken care of it, but if you disagree, please make note here. Owen & Courtney

I disagree with a different color for Owen's elimination. He was not unfairly voted off because everyone else decided to use their vote on Courtney, who had immunity. Also, Courtney's color on episode 13 doesn't seem to fit. We can just put as a footnote that she had immunity. There are too many colors on the table which only makes it more complicated and harder to read. TDA Aftermaths in the elimination table?

This matter has been addressed before, and I am saying it once more. The TDA Aftermaths do not belong in the elimination table. I think they should be taken out because there is no challenge in these episodes and they are irrelevant to the remaining contestants. Also, I was the one who blanked out the remaining campers on episode 6, 12, and 18 because there was no challenge and there was no Gilded Chris Ceremony or anything. Well, let's face it, there is no way a camper can win in those episodes. Also, the elimination table would just look better if the aftermaths were taken out althogether better if they were just taken out altogether. I think it may be good to stay in the article, because people might be confused, for example, if the episodes go like "5, 7" instead of "5, 6, 7." Well, on Top Chef, there is a reunion episodes about midway through the series and they put as a footnote that they skipped that episode on the elimination table. It seems more logical to take them out and put as a footnote that episodes 6, 12, and 18 are TDA Aftermaths.
