Tower Theatre (Sacramento, California)#Landmark status?

[edit]

From Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tower Theatre (Sacramento, California):

Is it possible that the theater is a contributing property to one of the National Register of Historic Places listings in Sacramento County, California historic districts?Djflem (talk) 07:18, 8 June 2020 (UTC):[reply]
No evidence the building was listed. The thesis, concerning the nomination of the building, states the owners didn't want it listed because they felt restrictions out-weigh benefits. Otr500 (talk) 05:53, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Relevant listings

[edit]
Although it seems clear the "Tower Theatre" is "considered a landmark" (per the Library of Congress, Sports Illustrated, and other sources) it has so for escaped being listed on any of the historical lists (that I could find) that include the NRHP, National Historic Landmarks in California, California Points of Historical Interest, or the Sacramento Register of Historic and Cultural Resources. I could not verify the source used in the opening sentence, nor could I find that the building is listed in any "official" publications, so the lead information either needs changing to reflect is "considered" a Sacramento, California landmark, a verifiable link found and used, or removed.
On another note: Reading International Inc. plans to reopen the closed theater in July. Otr500 (talk) 15:37, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
