Should some note be made that the Supra Turbo A was a dismal failure in Group A racing; comprehensively shamed first by the Skyline GTS-R and Ford Sierra, then by the BNR32 Skyline GT-R? 220.253.134.42 12:36, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Floody[reply]

The TurboA was only introduced in 1988, not before.

1988 Fuji, Japan; 3rd race of the FIA Asia-Pacific championship Car 37 : 2nd Place : Masanori Sekiya, J and Hitoshi Ogawa, J : 38 seconds behind leader

1989 Fuji, Japan; 3rd race of the FIA Asia-Pacific championship 36 : 2nd : Masanori Sekiya, J and Hitoshi Ogawa, J : 59 seconds behind leader

I'm still searching for more results but I know the turboA dominated the production series against the GTR as the Supra didnt carry as much weight and wasnt as limited on power. Mind you, these factors dont effect road cars....
